Abstract:

Recurrent aphtous stomatitis is a relatively common disase, characterized by painful superficial ulcerations in the oral mucosa. Its distribution is universal, being more frequent during the third decade of life. The authors performed a review about its etiopathogeny, clinical feature, differential diagnosis and treatment.
